He is the Medical Director of Allergy and Asthma Clinical Research, Inc. and has published extensively in a number of peer reviewed medical journals. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; American Thoracic Society; European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology; and past president of the Western Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

Valerie Chen Jerdee, MD is a board-certified Allergist and Immunologist. She earned her medical degree from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Jerdee completed a residency program in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma and a fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Allergy and Immunology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Jerdee joined the Allergy and Asthma Medical Group of the Bay Area in 2014. Prior to joining the group, Dr. Jerdee was an allergist at the Menlo Medical Clinic, affiliated with Stanford University Medical Center. Prior to this, she was in private practice in Florida. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. She is also board-certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI) and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI) and is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA) and the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (JCAAI) as well. Dr. Sally Joo Bailey attended Duke University for her undergraduate studies where she received a BS in Biology and a minor in Art History. She attended medical school at USF then went on to do her residency in Pediatrics at Georgetown in Washington, DC and remained close by at The Johns Hopkins for her training in Allergy & Immunology. She began her career as an Assistant Professor in NYC at the Weil-Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital for 3 years before returning to the DC area to join the faculty at Georgetown University Medical Center in 2006. She also opened a solo private practice, Allergy Associates of Northern in Arlington Virginia where she provided care for the community before joining the Johns Hopkins as teaching faculty, Clinical Associate Professor.
Dr. Bailey has also been the Past President of the Greater Washington Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology Society of DC as well as the founder of the Capital Allergy Associates and co-founder of the Mid-Atlantic Allergy.
