Mark Stein Graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA, in 1968. Following an intership at Abingron Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania, he served 10 years in the US Army, obtaining the rank of lieutenant colonel. During his military service, he conducted his residency training in internal medicine at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, CA, and his allergy/immunology training at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center and the National Jewish Medical Research Center (now National Jewish Health), both in Denver, DO. He subsequently was assistant chief of the Allergy Immunology Service at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and clinical consultant to the National Institutes of Health, both in Washington, DC.
Dr. Stein is board certified in allergy and immunology and internal medicine. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. He also is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Stein has been in private practice in North Palm Beach Fl for 33 years, and he cares for over 500 patients with primary immunodeficiency disease. He has been involved in several clinical trials that assess intravenous and subcutaneous gamma globulin products.
